Joe Cookies Loutolim defeated Morjim Veterans 2-0 in the All Goa Seraulim Village Panchayat Veterans Cup Football Tournament organised by United Sports Club of Seraulim in memory of late Camilo Fernandes (Pele) and played at SAG ground Seraulim. Loutolim scored their first goal in the 12th minute of play when Eddie crossed the ball to Jaison to head home. At lemon time the score was 1-0. Loutolim scored their second goal in the 43rd minute when Eddie’s power-packed shot found the nets.
Mushtifund HC win U-17 badminton tourney
PANAJIMushtifund High School, Cujira won the State level U-17 Boys Badminton Tournament defeating Sarvodaya Education Society, Curchorem in the final organised by Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs, held at SAG Indoor Hall, Campal.
