Spring Boys defeated Aiden Boys of Davorlim by 2-1 goals to emerge champs in the 1st Inter-ward football tournament organised by Young Boys of Ghantamorod and played at Mandopa ground-Navelim.
Maxton and Fredlon scored for Spring Boys while Josley reduced the margin for Aiden Boys.
The winners and runners were given Rs 30,000 and Rs 20,000 plus trophies respectively.
Individual prizes: First goal of the final “ Maxton (Spring Boys), Best goalkeeper of the final “ Nevil (Spring Boys), Best defender of the final “ Melwin (Aiden Boys), Best player of the tournament “ Alent (Zoriwado Boys), Man of the final “ Anil (Aiden Boys). Anand Zambaulikar “ Sarpanch of Aquem Baixo was the chief guest and handed over the prizes in the presence of Jessel Carneiro, player of Kerala Blasters.
