St Sebastian Club Mandopa clinched the St Bartholomew Cup seven-a-side football tournament organized by Youth of Chorao after beating Red Star 4-3 via tiebreaker in the final played at Chorao ground on Sunday.
Red Star were dominant in the opening half and took a lead through Runal. The script changed after the lemon break with St Sebastian Club pressing hard and Brandon neutralised the lead.
In the tie-breaker, Travis, Ronaldo and Nevin were on target for St Sebastian Club, while Runal and Manju scored for Red Star.
Individual prizes: 1st scorer of the final - Runal (Red Star), Best goalkeeper of the final - Manju (Red Star), Man of the match of final - Selvin (St Sebastian Club Mandopa), Best defender of final “ Runal (Red Star), Player of the tournament - Selvin (Mandopa), Last touch of the final - Brandon (St Sebastian Club Mandopa).
Fr Savio D Souza, Avertano Furtado, ex-Fisheries Minister, and John Leitao graced the prize presentation function and distributed the prizes.
