Margao: Uguem Rising secured a commanding 4-1 victory over Dicarpale SC to advance to the quarterfinals of the 13th OL of Fatima Cup Inter-Village Football Tournament, held at the Dicarpale Football Ground on Friday.
Uguem Rising led 1-0 at halftime, with Macson Costa scoring twice, while Ashnoy Carvalho and Aslam Shah each added a goal. Sahil Inamdar scored the sole goal for Dicarpale SC.
Macson Costa was named Man of the Match, receiving the award from Fr. Joaquim Fernandes, the Parish Priest of Dicarpale Church.
