In order to promote sports in the rural areas and to identify the young sporting talents from the surrounding villages, Vedanta’s VAB in collaboration with Sesa Football Academy (SFA) and local sports club ‘Maina Super League’, organised a week-long football training camp at Maina-Navelim, Bicholim.
The camp was conducted by the experienced coaches of SFA to nurture the footballing talent of local youth and to guide them to excel further in football. Coaches closely monitored all the participants throughout the camp and star performers were identified, who will be trained further to hone up their skills. More than 40 young boys from Maina- Navelim village benefited from the camp.
