The 7th Interward Football Tournament organized by United Club of Betul saw Vollir Warriors emerge as the League Champion Trophy winners after defeating Curni Stellars 3-1 at the Galli Football ground on Sunday.
The team put up an impressive performance with Bleston Simoes, Brandon Simoes and Edwin Simoes scoring one goal each for Vollir Warriors, while Brighton Fernandes managed to score one goal for Curni Stellars. The tournament also saw some outstanding players being recognized and awarded for their performance.
The guests for the finals included Sister Gracy, Sister Josette, Salvosao Simoes (Panch of Naqueri-Betul Panchayat), Romeo Simoes, Ivon Fernandes, and Manuel Simoes who were all present to give away the prizes to the winners and runners-up.
