Preparing my heart is more important than preparing my home. Christmas is about spending quality time with your family, making sweets together.

Well, this year my theme is red, green and gold and I am making a lot of DIYs. In my family the work is divided. While I look after the decor, my mom and sister take care of the cooking. And dad supervises.

I plan to spend time with family and friends, maybe go for a dance. Christmas day will be spent at my grandmother's place. All the cousins will be there together. Otherwise Christmas is always a quiet time for me. It is a time of prayer and reflection. A time to remember the birth of Christ.

Every year, I take part in the All Goa Star Competition that is held at Cavelosim. And every year, I ensure that I make my star keeping the theme 'wealth out of waste' in mind. I plan to use plastic bottles this year so that's basically what I've been doing all these days. Collecting plastic bottles to use on my star.
