MARGAO: Curtorim Boys registered a 4-2 win over Our Lady of Fatima Boys Baida Chinchinnim in the 4th all Goa inter-village open football tournament, organised by Davorlim Sports and Cultural Club, at Davorlim club ground, Laymati, on Tuesday.
In the 14th minute, Leslie Costa scored the first goal from the box. Later on, in the 20th minute, he double the lead when Curtorim Boys geared up and score two quick goals theough Ryon Fernandes to level the score line before half time.
In third quarter of the match, Curtorim goalkeeper Myrich Fernandes shot directly in Chinchinnim net to give the lead. In the last quarter, Chinchinnim defender handled the ball in danger area and Ryon Fernandes converted the penalty kick to complete his hat-trick.
Curtorim goalkeeper Myrich Fernandes was named the star of the match who excelled under the bar to take Curtorim Boys to the semi-finals.
