The annual exhibition ‘Asturi’ organised by the Women’s Wing of the Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) will be inaugurated at the hands of Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant at 11 am on December 2 at Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium at Taleigao. The exhibition will be at display on December 2 and 3 from 10 am to 8 pm. GCCI president Shrinivas Dempo will be present for the inaugural along with Mukesh Kumar Meena, joint director, Ministry of MSME-DFO, Goa, and Pratima Dhond, vice president of GCCI. Asturi is a platform for the local entrepreneurs to showcase and promote a diverse range of products, and this time there will be participants from neighbouring States too. Apart from the display of products there will be contests and entertainment activities too, including Make-up challenge, saree draping session, stand-up comedy, karaoke for all age groups, poster painting, duo antakshari, dances of India and the royal crowning of Asturi Queen as the finale.
