MAPUSA: The Xavier Retreat House (XRH), Baga, will organise a day-long organic kitchen gardening workshop, Sow, Grow & Relish, on August 9 from 9.30 am to 5 pm. The workshop is part of XRH’s ongoing Ignatian Eco-Consciousness programme, which has been conducted since 2023.
Goa-based horticulturist, conservationist and organic farming advocate Miguel Braganza will be the resource person, while Fr Shannon Pereira, SJ, Spiritual Director of Xavier Retreat House, will guide participants on integrating eco-conscious living with care for the environment. The programme will include lectures, practical gardening sessions, Ignatian reflections on eco-consciousness and an optional Holy Eucharist.
