Some members of Pilerne-Marra panchayat and ZP member Rupesh Naik on Tuesday celebrated the foundation day of Bharatiya Janata Party by hoisting flags at their houses and at public places in the village.Sarpanch Sandeep Bandodkar, panch members Amarnath Govekar, Karan Govekar and ZP member Rupesh Naik hoisted BJP flags at Sadguru Math, Pilerne Panchayat junction, Shantadurga temple and at O’Coqueiro junction.
They later assembled at Govekar nagar and listened to the address of PM Narendra Modi.Later speaking to reporters, Pilerne Sarpanch Sandeep Bandodkar said the country under leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been making progress at a fast pace. “PM Modi has taken historic decisions on a number of issues of national importance. The PM needs the support and cooperation from people to make his mission Atmanirbhar Bharat a success. The BJP has prospered under his leadership,” said Bandodkar. Panch member Amarnath Govekar said the country’s progress had suffered a setback because the Covid pandemic. If everybody observes the Standard Operating Procedures lay down by the health ministry, we can easily tackle Covid,” he said.
