The Biennial sports and prize distribution of Our Lady of Lourdes High School Utorda was held recently at SAG ground Utorda with the theme "Follow The Star". Rev Fr Mariano Dias, assistant to the secretary of Diocesan Society of Education was the chief guest and Jose Remedious Pereira was the guest of honour. The manager, Rev Fr Arvino Fernandes welcomed the gathering in presence of PTA chairman Francisco D'Costa. The students showcased their talents by marching brilliantly and performing various drills with perfect synchronisation. The track events in all categories evoked positive responses. The headmistress Sister Flory Rodrigues highlighted the achievements of the school in her yearly report while Sonali Chandra proposed the vote of thanks. The event was well coordinated by Physical Education teacher Russel Fernandes. Ena Costa and Alima Azavedo compared.
