Know your rights and change your life, KBM president appeals to girl students

“The Constitution of India has provided equal rights to women. It’s important to study these rights and fight for them. That would bring real social change in our society,” said Anwesha Singbal, the President of Konkani Bhasha Mandal. 

She was speaking on ‘Freedom’ at an online function organised by the women's cell of Dnyanprassarak Mandal’s College and Research Centre, Assagao as a part of the week-long programme on the occasion of Women’s Day. The first such woman entrepreneur, Harsha Naik Kamble, founder of ‘Boutique Vastram’ and alumni of the College was interviewed by Prashanti Talpankar, the associate professor. In another lecture, Dr Gauri Rupesh Gawas, a Gynaecologist with IVF Centre at Vision hospital spoke on “Women’s Health.”
