The Lions Club of Vasco da Gama has adopted Government High School, Mangor Hill and has been consistently supporting and actively participating in the upgradation of the school and improving the quality of education. Recently the Lions Club of Vasco da Gama donated two desktop computers, one to the Government High School at Mangor Hill and another to the Government Higher Secondary School, Baina. The president of Lions Club of Vasco da Gama Sunil Rajani along with secretary Dr Shweta Varshney and active support of other members identified the need of the schools and donated computers, which is the prime requirement in these times of digitalization and online teaching - learning compulsion due to Covid-19 pandemic.
The equipment was offered to the school and inaugurated at the hands of the district governor District 317 B MJF Lion Dr Girish Kuchinad in the presence of the president and members of the Lions Club of Vasco da Gama. On this occasion the headmistress of the school Namrata Satardekar, principal of GHSS, Baina, Maria Coradina Pereira and other staff members were present.
