The long awaited two-day Mercado de Natal by Peaches, the biggest and the best Christmas market got off to a rousing start at the SGPDA grounds on Saturday.
Shoppers made a rush to the SGPDA ground on Saturday evening as the ground played host to a variety of stalls showcasing items and goods centered on Christmas festivities.
“This festival is a vocal for local initiative to promote the products by our local people. People can just enter the ground to listen to music and do Christmas shopping. There’s a kid zone as well to take are of the younger lot,” informed Allison Morenas.
Expressing his satisfaction over the turn out of crowd on day one of the festival, Allison said the festival is being held after the Covid-19 pandemic break.
A host of bands will be in attendance during the two days of the market cum festival.
