Around 130 participants took part in a three-day online meditation and distance-healing programme focused on digestive system and liver well-being, organised by Shiva Science Meditations from October 23 to 25. Guided by Param Pujya Bhaiyaji, the programme involved three sessions daily, with participants practising from their homes, said Dr Namrata Redkar, a spokesperson for the organisation. According to Shiva Science Meditations, pre- and post-programme questionnaires showed improvements in several self-reported symptoms. The proportion reporting no indigestion increased from 11% to 67%, while those reporting no constipation or related bowel discomfort rose from 16% to 57%. Participants reporting no acidity or heartburn increased from 22% to 57%.
The sessions focused on the intestines, digestion and liver region over three days. Dr Redkar clarified that the findings reflected participants’ self-reported experiences and did not establish a clinically proven treatment effect.
