TAG condoles demise of 2 veteran artists

On behalf of the Tiatr community and Tiatr lovers, Tiatr Academy of Goa deeply condoles the death of two talented artists -- Romaldo D’Souza and Filipe Antonio Mascarenhas -- and expressed heartfelt sympathies to their bereaved family, and prays that the Almighty gives their soul eternal peace.  

 Romaldo D’Souza popularly known as Paul Romy was a legend on the Konkani stage. He passed away on November 13, 2020, at his residence in Andheri West Mumbai. Born on October 5, 1976, at Anjuna Vagator, a great comedian, writer, singer, director and producer, he is still remembered for his role in John Claros “Portuguez Kolvont”.

Filipe Antonio Mascarenhas popularly known as Felipe De Sanvordem, was a great musician, arranger, conductor who played the Saxophone in the tiatr field for several years. He passed away on November 16, 2020, at his residence in Sanvordem. He was born on August 6, 1942.
