Former Minister Rajendra Arlekar and advocate Rajiv Dhavlikar highlighted the virtues of India’s constitution at the National Constitution Day celebrated by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), Murgaon Prakhand in Vasco.
During the event, they said India has a written constitution, unlike many countries which only have an oral constitution and went on to claim that the constitution has been misinterpreted and misused.
Dr Subir Sanzgiri and VHP State President Santosh Naik were among those present at the event.
