PANAJI: A three-day Yoga Mahotsava will be held in Goa by Swami Ramdev in association with the Goa government and Chief Minister Pramod Sawant starting from February 18 at Miramar beach in Panaji. The celebration will begin from Mahashivaratri, February 18 with Shiv Jalabhishek and Shiv Pujan on the beach.
Sand artist from Odisha Manas Sahu will create a sand sculpture of Shivpindi. A total of 12 Shivpindis will be available for the devotees to do jalabhishek under the guidance of Tapobhumi purohits. In the evening noted singer Kailas Kher and his Kailasa band will perform Shiv Bhajans for Goans. The Yog Shibir will start at 5 am daily and will complete at 7.30 pm. Ramdev Baba will be present at 4.45 am at the venue on the beach.
