PANAJIThe Directorate of Archives and Archaeology has organised its annual Archives Week Exhibition from June 18 onwards. In this special Exhibition records related to Goa’s Struggle for Freedom which is found in the TMT (Tribunal Militar Territorial) files will be exhibited in order to create awareness about Goa’s Struggle for Freedom. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant will inaugurate this exhibition on June 18 at 10 am in the presence of Minister for Archives and Archaeology, Subhash Phal Dessai along with Minister for Revenue, Waste Management and Labour, Atanasio Monserrate. Apart from this Archival Exhibition, on June 18 from 2.30 pm onward, All Goa inter-higher secondary Quiz Competition is organised by the Directorate on the final phase of Goa’s Struggle for freedom, similarly, on June 19 from 9.30 am onwards, a Drawing Competition is also organised for the school students on the topic “Goa’s Struggle for freedom: Various personalities and Events”. On June 22 from 2.30 pm onwards, a Symposium titled ‘Goan Nationalism’ will be held at Sanskruti Bhavan Patto, Panaji.
French delegation visits BITS Pilani
VASCOA French delegation recently visited the BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus.
