MARGAO: Curtorim Gymkhana blanked Our Lady Of Gloria SC 2-0 to move to the final of the Fr Gervasio football tournament, at Figureido ground, Curchorem, on Wednesday.

Anslem Fernandes of Curtorim netted a brace for Curtorim in the 33rd and 36th minutes respectively.

The man of the match award was presented to Anslem Fernandes of Curtorim Gymkhana at the hands of Christie Bennett.

PANJIM: The Goa State team (Men) will be participating in the Beach Sports Festival 2023 organised by UT Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu in Diu from January 5 to 11 January 2024.An open selection trial will be held as follows at 3 pm: December 15 and 16 at Miramar Beach and December 18 and 19 at Colva Beach.Players who are of the age of 21 and below as on December 25, 2023 are eligible to participate in the festival.
