PANAJI
As many as 65 people donated blood at a blood donation camp organised by the Don Bosco College in Panaji in collaboration with the Goa Medical College Blood Bank on May 2. The camp was inaugurated by College Director Fr Joaquim Lobo, who welcomed Dr Sanjay Korgaokar and his team in the presence of Principal Dr Cedric Silveira and event coordinators, Anaita D’Costa and Alisha Souza. Fr Lobo highlighted the importance of donating blood and the need for such camps. The camp saw over 40 students coming forward to donate blood, although a few were found ineligible much to their disappointment. The college teachers also actively participated along with others from in and around Panaji, bringing the tally to around 65 donors.
