Rear Admiral Vikram Menon called on Governor P S Sreedharan Pillai after assuming duties of Flag Officer Commanding Goa Area and Flag Officer Naval Aviation.
The Flag Officer apprised the Governor of the role of naval assets at Goa, and discussed various aspects of civil-military cooperation in the State.
He also assured the Governor that all possible support would be extended to the State administration by the Navy, including in humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations.
