A panel of doctors, two from the Goa Medical College and as many doctors from the South Goa district hospital on Friday conducted an autopsy on the body of the 50-year-old woman, who had died at the ESI hospital two days ago. The post-mortem examination was conducted after the family members had suspected negligence behind the death of the deceased. As per the laid down guidelines, the autopsy was video filmed. Sources pointed out that the team of doctors has preserved the viscera. The panel will submit its report citing the cause of death.
