The women’s wing of Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been regularly conducting meetings of Women’s Facilitation Council which is a help desk to guide and assist women entrepreneurs in any business-related information. The facilitation Council has been organizing meetings on a quarterly basis where women entrepreneurs, self-help groups and professionals put up their queries and are guided by the help desk.
The third such session will be held on October 16 through a virtual meeting from 4-5.15 pm. It is a free session and open to all. The help desk comprises of Deepali Naik, director, Directorate of Women and Child Development, Swatee Rane (chartered accountant), Priyanka Kamat Shetiye (advocate), Inseyah Ali, business development manager, Fiire and Pallavi Salgaocar, chairperson of GCCI - women’s wing.
There will also be three short talks by chartered accountant Minal Always on ‘Book keeping for small businesses’, Priya Gupta on ‘Home delivery portal for home cooks’ and Aarti Dessai from DITC on ‘Financial assistance schemes for women entrepreneurs. There is no registration fee but prior registration is necessary. The virtual meet is open to all, men and women.
