PANAJI: Goa University will be participating in the All India inter-university weightlifting men championship 2023-24, which is scheduled from January 26 -29 at Chandigarh University, Punjab.
The farewell function for the teams was organised on January 19, at the Sports Section, Goa University, in the presence of Balachandra Jadar, Asst. Director of Physical Education and Sports, Goa University, Dr. Shailendra Gaonkar, Assistant Sports Officer, Goa University along with Mr. Andrew Gomes, Team Coach cum Manager.
The following players will represent Goa University at the Championship: Gorakshnath Waifalkar, Creason Gonsalves, and Abhishek Parab.
