IMA Goa State participated in the IMA National Conference NATCON 2022 on December 26-28 at Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh and the IMA Goa’s secretary Dr Amol Tilve who also attended the meeting of the Central Council, was honoured with record setting eight National Awards for all the activities undertaken under the IMA banner. Dr Amol Tilve, secretary IMA Goa State received the President’s Appreciation Award for Best Adjudged Hon Secretary of State at the hands of national president Dr Sahajanand Prasad Singh. Dr Lloyd Desouza, secretary IMA Bardez and Dr Anand Dalvi, Secretary IMA Tiswadi received the National President’s Appreciation Award for Best Adjudged Hon Secretary of Local Branch Award (Shared). Dr Vishwaraj Mhalshekar received the President’s Award for Best Young Doctor. While IMA Bardez was honoured with the IMA Membership Development Award for Local Branch for maximum new members enrolment and IMA Tiswadi was honoured with National President’s Appreciation Award for Best Doctor’s day Celebration. The Women Doctors Wing of IMA GOA STATE was honoured with two National President’s Appreciation Awards to Dr Purnima Usgaonkar and Dr Shraddha Mulgaonkar Patil. For the first time IMA GOA has received Eight National Awards which are maximum in a year and the credit goes to IMA Goa State president Dr Rufino Monteiro under whose guidance all the activities were carried out.
