Team Roborex, an amateur Robotic Club based at Ponda consisting of Ananya Naik (12), Shounak Hede (12) and Swayam Kakodkar (14), is involved in building and programming Robots, coding, and developing games and apps. The team has participated in various national and international level competitions and won several laurels. Roborex, Goa conducts various workshops in schools wherein the students are taught about the hardware and software aspects related to Robotics such as creating a robot using the Lego EV3 kit, familiarisation with various components, programming of Robots, and more. The duration of these workshops is generally four hours and free of cost. The team has successfully conducted workshops in the villages of Bicholim, Priol, Kavlem, St Estevam, Divar, etc. The Team Roborex are mentored by Arya Khedekar. If any school especially from a rural area of the state needs a similar workshop to be conducted for their students, they can approach Team Roborex.
