PORVORIM
A scooter rider from Caisua-Chapora was killed in a road mishap at Teen building at Porvorim on Monday afternoon. According to Porvorim Police, Pradeep Korjuvekar (61) was proceeding towards Mapusa on his scooter at about 1.30 pm when he dashed the bus in front of him near Teen building. He lost the control of the vehicle and fell on the road. He came under the wheels of a sewage tanker which was coming from behind and proceeding towards Mapusa. The injured rider was shifted to Goa Medical College hospital at Bambolim for treatment, but he was declared dead on arrival. Porvorim PSI Akash Chodankar is investigating.
