PANAJI: The Vianaar group planted 1,000 saplings with a one-year maintenance in collaboration with a vendor from Divar and Goltim-Navelim (Divar) panchayat. The Vianaar group also distributed some saplings to locals.
All saplings will be monitored for one year by the Vianaar group. All fruit-bearing saplings, cashew, jackfruit, beetle nut, coconut, etc., were distributed to the villagers by Goltim-Navelim Sarpanch Mario Pinto.
The group also distributed raincoats to students of our Lady of Divar High school and the ones who attended the programme.
