Theatre festival at Pirn on March 12

Shree Rastroli Paradhivas temple's theatre festival will be held on March 12 along with various religious and cultural programmes at Umalvada Pirn. The programme will begin with Shree Satyanarayan mahapooja at 10 am, aarti, teerthaprasad , mahaprasad at 1 pm, followed by offerings at Shree Devi Sati temple. Dashavatari Natya Mandal will present a play 'Sadetin Shankar' at 10 pm, stated the temple committee.

PANAJI Budding artist Mohit Naik’s first exhibition, ‘Ghodkem: My journey begins here’ is opening on March 12 at 7 pm at Carpe Diem in Majorda. Born in an isolated village, Ghodkem, Mohan was inspired by his artist father’s paintings and the village where they lived. Mohan painted his first canvas when he was in class 5 and continued painting on papers, with different mediums especially with soft pastels, and winning prizes.
