PANAJIThe NSS Unit of Vidya Prabodhini College, under its community outreach, held a lecture on various schemes of NABARD for the self-help groups (SHG) in Chandel Village of Pernem. The guest lecture was held on December 27 at Hutatma Bapu Gawas Memorial High School. The resource person for the talk was the Assistant General Manager of NABARD Rupesh Bhamaikar. The resource person provided information on various NABARD schemes meant for the development of self-help groups. A total of 45 women from the local SHG attended the talk. The welcome address was done by NSS in-charge Dr Pinkesh Dharma Dhabolkar, the introduction of the guest was done by Aachal Ashok Naik, and vote of thanks was done by Purva Pramod Savoikar.
