Refuting reports that he has plans to leave the party, Trinamool Congress (TMC) State President Kiran Kandolkar has said the party would win 6-7 seats in the State.
“It is false news being spread that I am leaving the TMC. The IPAC has done a good job in four months and taking the party to every house is not a small and easy job. Some people are spreading these rumours. There is no difference at any level in the party, neither at the high command level not at the IPAC level,” said Kandolkar.
“Party work is going on and I am in the office of TMC. We are taking a review of candidates who have contested elections. After interacting with candidates, we have come to the conclusion that we will win at least 6-7 seats in the assembly elections,” said Kandolkar.
Kandolkar added that the TMC-MGP alliance would win at least 12 seats in the elections.
