CANACONA:
A 51-year-old man from Barcem-Quepem died at the GMC hospital at Bambolim after he was grievously injured in a self-accident.
According to Canacona police, Datta Gaonkar had met with a self-accident at Molorem-Khola at around 9 pm on Tuesday while he was proceeding from Barcem to Gowal-Khola on his scooter.
Canacona police said no foul play is suspected, and as part of its enquiry, Canacona police visited GMC Bambolim and conducted the inquest panchnama. After an autopsy, Canacona police handed over the body to the family for final rites.
