Ten students from Kerala took ill after consuming food at a restaurant in Arpora on Friday, while they were on a study tour in the State.
According to details, a group of 50 students from a college in Kerala had arrived in Goa on a study tour about four days ago.
On Friday morning, they had picked up idli-sambar parcels from a restaurant in Arpora. After consuming the food, 10 of them took ill and were admitted to the North Goa District Hospital at Mapusa.
They were later discharged from the hospital.
On receiving information about the incident, an Anjuna police team visited the hospital and interacted with the students. A team from the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) also visited the restaurant in Arpora and then met the students in the hospital.
The students, however, declined to file a complaint in the matter.
