At least 15 employees of a hotel in Baga were admitted in the intensive care unit of a private hospital for food poisoning and their condition was reportedly serious. This incident happened on Tuesday afternoon.
The hotel staff suffered of food poisoning after the management of the hotel reportedly served them leftover party meal. The health of the male and female employees of the hotel deteriorated after consuming the food.
The employees were then immediately rushed to a private hospital in Candolim where their condition is reported to be serious. The parent of one of the employees has filed a complaint against the hotel management with the Calangute Police.
According to the complainant, the poor quality of food served by the hotel management led to food poisoning of his son and others. The parent has demanded that police should take necessary action against the hotel management.
