19-year-old dies in mishap

OLD GOA: A 19-year-old boy from Saibawado-Divar died in a road accident at Ribandar.

According to Old Goa Police, Jaryn Pacheco of Santarbhat-Divar with Jordan Picardo of Saibawado was proceeding in his car (GA-06-A-1309) from Old Goa to Panaji. When they reached near the new by-pass road near Vastu Heritage at Ribandar, Jaryn lost control of the car and it went to the right side of the road and crashed into an oncoming pick-up truck (GA-01-T-5793). Police said the occupant in the car, Jordon Picardo sustained severe injuries and succumbed to the same later. Police is investigating the case.
