OLD GOA:

In an unusual incident, two KTC buses broke down near the GMC hospital in Bambolim on Tuesday.

The first bus broke down in the early morning right at the entrance of the service road leading towards GMC, leaving no space for four-wheelers to pass by the road.

The four-wheelers and other vehicles, barring two-wheelers, heading towards GMC hospital had to take the flyover and take a roundabout to reach the hospital.

This resulted in a huge traffic jam on the flyover, which got cleared only after the KTC bus was moved to the side after repairs.

However, some time later, yet another KTC bus broke down on the flyover a few hundred meters away, forcing passengers to take another KTC bus for their onwards journey.
