Colva police on Wednesday said a cook working at a restaurant at Benaulim has committed suicide by hanging.
PI Tukaram Chawan, who is holding additional charge of Colva police station, informed that the 46-year-old deceased committed suicide by hanging to a branch of a mango tree with the help of a nylon rope.
A native of Kerala, the deceased has been staying in Goa for the last 25 years. The incident occurred on Wednesday evening. The Colva police is investigating.
