Six car occupants including the driver sustained serious injuries when it collided with a luxury bus on National Highway at Mollem on Tuesday.
According to the police, the accident occurred when the driver of Innova car GA-05-A-9977 fell asleep while driving en route to Hubli.
“It crashed into the oncoming private luxury bus, damaging the car and injuring occupants. The driver was seriously injured. All were taken to the Health Centre at Tisk and later to the District Hospital where they are undergoing treatment,” a police official said.
