6 students hurt in road mishap

CORTALIM: Six students of Mount Litera School at Dabolim sustained minor injuries, after the bus in which they were travelling was hit by a tipper truck at Sancoale on Friday.

According to Verna Police, the incident occurred near Zuari Indianoil Tanking Limited, when the bus, which was taking a turn, was hit by the tipper truck, which was trailing the bus.

The students were discharged after first aid. The police conducted site panchnama and further investigations are in progress.
