Known for taking the famous Belagavi Biryani to the world, the Niyaaz group has added one more feather to its cap by venturing into the field of hospitality education.
Under the aegis of Niyaaz Education Foundation, the Hospitality Skill Development Institute (HSDI) was inaugurated in Belagavi on Tuesday.
Centrally located and well equipped with academic and practical education infrastructure, the institute is centrally located at Sadhunavar Arcade in Gondhalli Galli here.
Speaking on the occasion, Director of HSDI Irshad Soudagar said the institute aims at offering excellent career opportunities to youth aspiring to pursue their career in hospitality in India and abroad.
“With our expertise and experience, we would like to give our best to the students by offering job-oriented courses, backed with on the job training in some of the best hotels and restaurants in and around Belagavi and Goa,” he said.
Veteran hotelier Vitthal Hegde, director of KLE Society Dr V S Sadunavar, director of the institute Kiran Sadhunavar and eminent personalities from the hotel industry and a cross section of society were present.
Adv Madhavrao Chavan, journalist Rehmat Kenchigar, Principal Dayal Advani, Ruma Patil and others also spoke at the event.
