MARGAO
Thousands of Agniveer aspirants from all over India are going through the recruitment rally at the 3 Military Training Regiment under the aegis of Headquarters 2 Signal Training Centre which includes demanding physical and medical tests, the rally is being conducted from September 5-10.
One of the striking features of the recruitment exercise is that it is being conducted after two years and the automation of the entire process using e-recruitex software. The software facilitates minimizing human involvement, capturing biometrics of all stakeholders including the conducting staff and candidates. The results are directly recorded into the software ensuring correctness of data and efficiency in conduct.
The rally includes a batch of 100 candidates participating in a 1.6 km run, the running is completed in the early hours of the day. Those who qualify go for physical measurements and medical tests. The document verification of each candidate is done by a board of officers. Post documentation, the candidates proceed for medical examination. The medically fit candidates get admit cards for the common entrance examination, the examination would be conducted at 3 Military Training Regiment in the month of November 2022.
The most important highlight of the rally was the excellent administrative setup provided by the State government and the involvement of the District administration.
MLA of Navelim Ulhas Tuenkar had personally visited the site of the Dicarpale Sports Club football ground and steered the creation of infrastructure for Army aspirants from all over the country. The proper planning of the event is resulting in smooth conduct, comfort to candidates and minimizing the discomfort and disturbance to Margao locals.
