A post-Covid Ayush Clinic has been opened at the South Goa district hospital for post-Covid patients, who need to be monitored for a period of at least three months after their recovery.
The OPD will be conducted by Ayush doctors and all medications necessary will be provided to the patients.
The patients availing services at the OPD will be advised on healthy lifestyles and balanced nutrition.
The clinic is expected to offer comprehensive, multi-disciplinary evaluation and care for post-Covid patients.
The OPD was inaugurated by the Health Minister in the presence of Dr Jose D'Sa (Director DHS), Dr Roopa Naik (CMO Non-Communicable Diseases, DHS), Dr Rajendra Borkar (CMO Vaccination, DHS), Dr Rajesh Patil (Nodal officer, SGDH Covid Hospital), Dr Deepa Corriea (Medical Superintendent, Hospicio Hospital), Dr Vishwajeet Phaldessai (In-charge ESI Hospital, Margao), Dr Madhu Ghodkirekar (Forensic Dept, GMC), Dr Mahesh Verlekar (SGDH).
