Babush’s condition stable, discharged

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday said he visited Revenue Minister Atanasio (Babush) Monserrate and his condition is stable.

“He will be discharged today (Wednesday),” Sawant said.

Monserrate had suffered a ‘mild heart attack’ shortly before midnight on Sunday last after which he was rushed to the Goa Medical College and Hospital where doctors conducted an emergency angioplasty on him.

Monserrate was taken to the GMCH a little after midnight and the angioplasty was conducted on him around 1.30 am.
