Urban Development Minister Milind Naik on Sunday said that he will ensure that Baina beach will soon become one of the best beaches in Goa.
Naik was speaking to media persons at a function organised to distribute saplings as part of a plantation drive in Baina. The Minister said he would also look into the development works of the constituency.
“Baina has been an important part of Mormugao constituency. I have proposed several works in this area and I will follow up with the department concerned on these. Baina beach is also one of the most beautiful beaches and has a long surface area. I will soon shortlist the various works in Baina area and complete these,” he said.
“The small works of Baina beautification that are remaining will also be taken up on top priority and will be completed soon after the monsoon is over. We will ensure that Baina beach becomes one of the most beautiful beaches in Goa,” said Naik.
