BICHOLIM: A 34-year-old youth from Gaonkarwada-Bicholim who consumed poison at his house on May 13 breathed his last at GMC hospital in Bambolim on Tuesday,
According to Bicholim police, Sunil Arjun Wadkar had consumed poison in his house on May 13 and the incident came to light the next morning. He was rushed to GMC hospital but did not respond to treatment and breathed his last on Tuesday.
After an autopsy, the body was handed over to relatives for final rites on Wednesday.
Bicholim police suspect the deceased may have taken the extreme step out of frustration. PSI Anand Govekar investigated the case under the supervision of PI Narayan Chimulkar and guidance of DySP Ramesh Gaonkar.
