BITS Pilani team wins quiz
PANAJI: Ashwin Krishnan and Meghana Gupta from BITS Pilani won the Goa regional round of the Tata Crucible Campus Quiz-2016. They will now compete with champions from 8 cities at the Zone 3 finals.
Roshan Dattatri and Lucky Kaul from BITS Pilani were declared as the runners-up. The 12th edition of Tata Crucible Campus Quiz is a unique 20-20 game to be played on the basis of a 20 question prelim followed by a T20 format final.
Neeraj Amarnani, professor (finance) & chairperson “ post graduate diploma in management (PGDM), Goa Institute of Management awarded the winners and the runners-up the cash prizes.
The top six teams were selected after a preliminary written and a subsequent wild card round (only from the cities where it was held). Besides, the winners and the runners-up, the four stage finalist teams included Sahil R and Tejan Karmali from NIT, Ashish Bansal and Anirudh Shirsat from GIM, Arpit Madan and Palak Dhawan from GIM and Tanmay Naik and Akash Kulkarni from Goa College of Engineering.
