BJP executive panel meet today
PANAJI: State Bharatiya Janata Party’s state executive committee will meet on Sunday with nearly 240 members participating in the same. This is the first meeting of the committee for the term after being appointed.
Addressing a press conference at BJP headquarters in Panaji, State president Vinay Tendulkar said, “The meeting will begin at about 10.30 am and will go on till 5 pm and will be attended by the State executive committee, district committee heads, presidents of various morchas, among others. MLAs, ministers and mandal presidents have also been invited.”
The meeting will have lectures by party leaders on the State and Central budget.
The national chief of ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' Rajendra Phadke will present his views on the subject.
“The meeting will decide upcoming programmes and strategies for the 2017 election. Parrikar and Parsekar will also address the meeting,” informed Tendulkar.
