Body found in Chapora river
MAPUSA: The body of an unidentified man, believed to be in his forties, was found floating in the Chapora river on Thursday afternoon.
Anjuna Police informed that the man was wearing just a short pant when his body was found in the river at Bondir-vaddo, Chapora.
Police sources said that the body appeared to be of a local and that investigations were in progress to identify the man.
Anjuna Police conducted the panchanama and referred the body for post mortem to GMC.
PSI Yogesh Sawant is investigating the case.
